As Flag Institute Communities Vexillologist, Philip engages, liaises with and supports local and regional communities seeking to develop a flag for inclusion in the UK Flag Registry.
Within this role, Philip offers free procedural advice on the best routes to successful registration.
He provides resources and templates, undertakes historical research and even draws up the artwork for many flags.
