Last month saw the launch of the free-to-enter competition to design the official flag for Exmoor.
The closing date for entries is Monday 21 July.
A public vote will choose the winning design, and the official unveiling will take place in October.
The Exmoor Flag Project has already raised much interest locally.
It includes Robin Ashburner – no stranger to the Flag Institute – who is giving presentations to schools and appearing in the local press.
The Exmoor National Park Partnership Fund is offering further financial support, and the Exmoor Society is endorsing the project.
