I have lived in the Isle of Purbeck all my life and my family have lived here for generations.
I am soo disappointed with the design of this unimaginative flag.
This is a very beautiful and special part of the South of England and it warrants an equally beautiful flag to represent it.
We have many, many very talented artists in the Isle of Purbeck, who could have designed something really beautiful and fitting, but instead we have this really boring flag.
I note that it says above – Adoption Route-public vote – I didn’t know anything about this flag until today (2/1/2020) when I read about it and saw the design in the local rag The Purbeck Gazette.
How many people from the IOP actually got to vote on this?
I certainly didn’t know anything about the vote and I wonder how many others didn’t know as I’m certain that this flag would never have been voted to represent the Isle of Purbeck.
