And for the first time, flag-lovers unable to travel to Manchester can be there online.

All members will receive a Zoom link prior to the event. Guests are welcome too – please email convenor@flaginstitute.org for your link.

Enjoy speakers including: Luke Jerram, Dr Matthew Stallard and John Cartledge [more details].

Then end the day at the President’s Drinks at the nearby 16th-century Oast House.

The People’s History Museum is the UK’s national museum of democracy. Its extensive trade union and political banner collection is the largest of its type in the world, and a selection will be on display in its 2021 exhibitions when the Flag Institute visits.
