Since 1965 vexillologists worldwide have met at the biennial International Congress of Vexillology (ICV).
Each ICV is organised by a different host, appointed since 1969 by the Fédération Internationale des Assocations Vexillologiques (FIAV).
The next Congress is ICV31, taking place in Paris (France), 6–11 July 2026, and hosted by the Société française de vexillologie (SFV)
