A hugely successful Skye Flag competition attracted a total of 369 entries – mainly from Skye but also from India, Portugal, USA and France.
The judges drew up a shortlist of six finalists on 31 January 2020, and these designs subsequently went to public vote.
The unveiling ceremony for the winning flag took place in Portree on 24 August 2020.
