I am pleased to learn of a flag, that represents Devon, that I can add to my collection of flags, that represent each branch of my ancestors. I fly the different flags on the days that are important for each flags original country.
Devon is one of several sources of my bloodline ancestors, so I have a direct kinship to the history and current population of Devon. I have studied the economic history, political history, and geography, of Barnstaple, Devon, during the late 1400’s and early 1500’s, as I can trace a direct family line to there..
I am hoping to visit Barnstaple, Devon, someday to expand my knowledge and understanding.
